Think Europe (Evropa misli) presented converge2eu initiative at the official launch of the Balkan Barometer 2025 in Brussels and organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).

Speaking on the panel, Zoran Nechev of Think Europe discussed how evidence-based initiatives like converge2eu can help bring the Western Balkans closer to EU living standards, supporting a more informed public debate on enlargement. He examined how the Barometer’s findings connect with Converge2EU’s own data, and what conclusions can be drawn for the region’s path toward the EU.

Nechev joined a panel that also included Adnan S. Efendic, Corina Stratulat, and Françeska Muço, moderated by Gjeraqina Tuhina. The discussion placed particular emphasis on the value of replacing assumptions with hard data in shaping enlargement policy, a principle central to Think Europe’s own approach through converge2eu.

The event coincided with record findings from the Balkan Barometer 2025: 64% of Western Balkan citizens now support EU membership, the highest level recorded since the survey began in 2015. Amer Kapetanovic presented the results, which also included growing regional views on economic growth, digital transformation, mobility, and trust in institutions.
